Founder of award winning integrated agency Magnum & Co, Michelle Hampton, today announced her equity investment in our agency.
We are now in our fourth year of operation, specialising in digital advertising, search engine marketing and social media advertising, and have been making noise in the industry recently for our hallway focus on hyper-adaptation across all our services, particularly off the back of being announced as Pizza Hut’s new digital marketing agency.
Michelle’s interest in our agency stems from the belief that search and digital advertising should be reserved for specialist digital marketing agencies.
“I wish I got paid a dollar every time I heard all-rounders say they offer specialist digital advertising. While they may not mean to, they’re telling porkies. We know all areas of marketing are in constant change but digital advertising and search engine marketing is on a far more elevated trajectory, so even if you do just this every day, all day, you may only then have a chance of being at the forefront.”
“One of the things that really stood out about Wired when I was looking to invest, was how ‘un-nerdy’ the team is and how well they connect to their clients on a personal level. They’ve managed to nail the balance between professional and technical expertise which they have in droves, and their people-first approach.”
“Added to this, much of their team hails from the likes of Google, so they are at the tip of the industry without a doubt”.
Founder of Wired, Angela Hampton sees the investment as a unique opportunity to draw on Michelle’s intimate knowledge of agency land and her success in building businesses for sustained growth.
“We’re confident we’ve nailed our offering having invested heavily in our people and services, but what we’re most excited about with Michelle’s involvement is how much she understands the inner workings of business and the intricacies around best practice structures.”
